"Very nice self contained apartment close to Riva Trigosa station"

This was a completely self contained unit in the downstairs part of a family home very close to the station at Riva Trigosa. It was perfect and the owners were were very friendly, providing me with a bottle of wine and some soap powder for the washing machine. I enjoyed my 4 nights stay there, saw the Giro d'Italia pass by the front door and found it easy to tour around Cinque Terre and visit Sestri Levante. Very nice being able to cook some meals when staying for 4 nights.

There weren't any big problems. There was a supermarket about 10 minutes walk away and on arrival I needed to call the owner and convey that I had arrived in Italian - but they soon arrived and let me into the apartment.
