Tra Vinh Lodge

Tout était parfait : L’accueil, la gentillesse, le dévouement de Ut et de sa famille, le cadre exceptionnel de l’hôtel, le confort de la chambre et le balcon sur l’eau, la nourriture délicieuse, le prêt des vélos… Nous avons adoré notre séjour, et avons été très touchés par cette famille. Nous recommandons à 150%.

The soft spoken young manager, Du, was so kind and helpful. We had three wonderful meals. The rooms were very comfortable and well furnished. The waterside seating area was peaceful and lovely. We enjoyed meeting Du’s family.

Du was so kind and accommodating. The facilities are beautifully located, clean and comfortable. All of the food was plentiful and delicious. We had many relaxing moments on our porch over the water.

We appreciated everything.

Delightful lodge overlooking a clean pond with water lilies. The owners were charming and helpful. Lovely bike rides through unspoiled countryside and villages. We got to Tra Vinh where there are some spectacular Khymer temples.

Die absolute Ruhe an diesem wunderschönen Teich mit den wWasserblumen, Fröschen und Fischreihern war fantastisch und wohltuend. Das Betreiber-Ehepaar bereitete das beste Frühstück des Urlaubs und auch fantastisches Abendessen zu und hat sich rührend um uns gekümmert. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist unglaublich günstig . Wir haben wunderschöne Fahrrad und Motorroller Touren gemacht und sind dankbar für diese schöne Erfahrung

Remote feeling location. The location is stunning, beautiful lodges over waterlily ladden pond. Borrow bicycles or enjoy a mini guided canoe trip around the pond (fishing was offered too). The whole place was an experience. The lodge rooms are very clean and spacious as are the bathrooms.The air conditioning was excellent. Fast WiFi. Food: Breakfast was included for us (eggs, toast, fruit and coffee/juice). You can ask for lunch and dinner provision (recommended as there is no where near to eat). The meals were really lovely, generous portions, homemade Vietnamese dishes. On the dining terrace, there's a fridge with reasonably priced drinks available. The family that runs it were lovely! (Needed Google translate to communicate).

The lodges are about a 15 minute walk down a rough track although they are resurfacing (need to use Google maps) so you can either walk it or contact them to transfer you and your luggage in a golf trolley (or moped): Not a problem to us but it's an extra hurdle. There is karaoke in the local neighborhood however, it's not excessively loud and stops by 10pm. We were warned about early morning public service announcements but during our 3 day stay, there were none. There are earplugs provided. You're in the middle of rural Vietnam so expect a few bugs, ants and mosquitoes! The ants were particularly annoying!
