This house and location blew our expectations out of the water, it’s huge! And an absolutely stunning layout

Could be better maintained, you could see things needed fixing up but it made it more relaxed for us with kids we weren’t overly worried about them destroying things

The location was excellent being very close to Cape Tribulation. Accomodation was a whole house set isolated and alone in a clearing in the middle of the Daintree Rainforest which promoted a feeling of being part of it. Extra large open doors and spacious covered verandah added to this.

No air conditioning. There were also no insect screens but surprisingly we experienced no mosquitos or other insect pests while we were there.

A very nice house, three bedrooms, one ensuite, a huge separate bathroom and a separate toilet. The absolutely best feature is the deck, with lots of space to sit, dine or simply relax.

Be aware that Cape Tribulation is a rainforest, so insects are expected. Also note that the beach is accessible via a private walking path only. While the walk is beautiful in terms of nature and wildlife, it is a 500m walk.
