We absolutely LOVED our stay here. All the facilities were clean and comfortable. The farm was so beautiful. Signora Antonio was friendly and accommodating. Her food was out of this world. We would 100% stay there again. She treated us like family!

I would have loved a kitchenette in the units, but we knew there were none when we booked.

After a 15-days’ trip throughout Italy and having stayed in delightful B&Bs, this was not the way we wished to end our vacation. The farm is difficult to reach, but that’s not even a downside. Let’s start with the positive aspects: the place is beautiful, full of animals, fruit trees and gardens. A true place to switch off and rest. However, they were hosting a kids’ birthday party in the outside events area, in front of our room, which ruined our hopes for a restful evening - the music and the microphone could be heard everywhere until 8:45 pm. The lady that hosted us appeared to be exhausted, being harsh and with an eye-rolling attitude every time we asked for something, sometimes just by seeing us. Our room’s comfort and decoration was not even close to the rooms depicted in the photos. Despite having reserved months in advance, we were given the ground floor room near to the kitchen, with the toilet adapted for disabled people. The shower doors were broken, and there were used sachets of shampoo and shower gel in the shower tray. Meal-wise, we had dinner in since there aren’t close alternatives nearby, and the food was delicious. But again, we were served by the same lady that seems to be doing everything around, and she gasped even when we asked for the menu. The breakfast was… I mean, the place it’s called “the citrus valley”, there are plenty of fruit trees around, chickens and so on, but there were no eggs, fruits, nor natural products. Surprisingly, we got packaged croissants and package peach juice instead. All-in-all, the experience was barely positive only due to the beauty of the natural surroundings we had the chance to explore. We left frustrated to see a place that could offer a premium hosting experience, being so sloppy and neglected. Definitely overrated.

Wie schon erwähnt - ich gehe halt gerne zurück an Orte, die mir gefallen. Das B&B Valle degli Agrumi ist so ein Ort. Da war ich schon und werde das B&B weiterhin besuchen. Die Wirtin es ausserordentlich nett und das soll etwas heissen in Sizilien, das in Sachen Gastfreundschaft weit oben steht. Kommt dazu, dass es die einzige Herberge ist, die ich kenne, die auf spezifische Wünsche, die in einem Kommentar geäussert wurden, eingeht. So kann ich dort nun mein Frühstück mit herzhaftem Brot und selbstgemachter Marmelade geniessen. Meiner Ansicht nach hat das Valle degli Agrumi eine traumhafte Atmosphäre. Es würde sich lohnen, dort mit dem Mountainbike Touren zu unternehmen (nur nicht im Hochsommer). Die Fahrt weiter ins Tal hinter ist auf jeden Fall lohnenswert. Wer am Ende das Tals zu Fuss weitergeht, wird nach einer halben Stunde die Region ereichen, wo tatsächlich im Flussbett noch Wasser fliesst. Eine tolle Sache im Sommer. Das B&B ist gut für Leute, die Stille willkommen und einen Sinne für den Geist eines Ortes haben.
