The only thing that could use improvement is the bed. It has a very hard (and a bit worn out) matras.

The property is family run , the owners really care about their guests’ experience and made us feel very welcome.

The property is very clean and well organised and the location is within walking distance to the borgo.

I've stayed at the Barbieri twice before and I had a room with a balcony and a view of the Old Town. This time I was given a room with no view. The staff were kind enough to move me to a room with a window which had a partial view of the Old Town. The Barbieri's closeness to town is a real plus.

I wish I could have had a room with a balcony, which gives you a full view of the old town. I'm older and may never get there again so I was disappointed. Altomonte is my paternal grandparents home town.

The views were incredible ! The restaurant top notch!

Rooms were dated. Scuffed walls. Old hard beds, but for 110 Euros I’m ok with it. Can’t say I wanna go back but I’m not mad. The pool looked nice but we didn’t use it

Wifi - needed fixing, I know they were working on it.

Breakfast and lunch were delicious and the staff are so friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel at home and ensure you have everything you need. Pool was beautiful especially on a hot summers day.
