Villa Eden

Villa Eden is a lovely retreat in the countryside. It is situated in a little village with a couple of shops and cafes, but there are several amenities within a few minutes drive - and you need a vehicle to get here anyway. The rooms are large, comfortable and well-appointed. They have large terraces and the views towards Vesuvius, or towards Naples at night, are simply stunning. Breakfast is good with several options. The hostess Ornella is very pleasant and helpful. Overall, an excellent experience.

The hotel is a bit hard to find the first time, although it gets easier as you get used to the area. Google Maps navigation can act a bit funny in this mountainous terrain. Especially, don't follow its guidance when you leave the motorway from Naples as it tries to take you up a very narrow road to save a couple of kilometers. Stick to the main road and you'll have a much more pleasant drive.

The view is incredible. Host is lovely. Very cosy. Pool is massive bonus!

Do not consider it if you do not have a car - the bus is unreliable. - not their fault but people need to be aware of it.

Great family. I loved the pool area and it had such a nice view of the volcano.

I liked everything.

I liked absolutely everything, the place, the atmosphere, the staff. They were very kind and friendly, made our family a very delicious dinner in the everning and we drank their local wine there. Rooms were cleans all the days during our stay and I especially liked that this is a family hotel and the family also live there creating this family like atmosphere. One evening while having dinner we had a chance to talk to the host and it was interesting to get to know a lot of valuable informations about Italy. Lovely hosts, nice location.

The single bed was a camp bed, not a proper bed. Therefore, it was not comfortable.

The host made sure we were as comfortable as possible. Incredible views of Vesuvius from a large balcony. Very good breakfast.
