We were met at the apartment and shown around. The host was very responsive to questions. The place was very cute and clean.

I was very satisfied with this apartment. It was a bit farther away up the cliffs of Positano but we walked down and had to take transportation back up.

Cute little place. Easy to get from the bus stop. 30 minute walk down the stairs to the beach.host was in cotact constantly.blacony view was good.

Perhaps it is too small for my liking.. but for a 2 night stay it is ok. The shower water can enter the kitchen if you are not careful.

We have found everything we need. Room decoration and view from the balcony was wonderful. Because the room is close to the market, we were able to prepare our own food. All the equipment that we need in the kitchen was already there. Fortuna, has helped us greatly and we want to thank her for her hospitality.

Stunning views, cozy appointed room with kitchenette. Owner very helpful and accomodating. Would recommended.

Access is challenging due to the amount of stairs you need to climb so just be prepared.

Clean, quiet and has all you need. It’s away from the crowds and has the most amazing view. Great restaurant close by. The locals are very friendly and accomodating.

It’s away from crowds but can be difficult to access if you don’t want to walk

The staff was excellent. The property manager was there to greet us & the owner carried our luggage down the stairs. It was very clean and was a great location. We appreciated the helpful tips on the bus and transportation.

We liked our stay. The only suggestion is to improve the bathroom shower drain.

We booked another accommodation as soon as we got here, did not like it and was not reflected well in the images.

Unfortunately, we did not end up staying at Ricciolo D’oro for more than 30 minutes. When we got there we came to find that the entrance and externals of the property are very much shared with next door, with no fencing or separation between the two apartments. When we arrived we were greeted by next-door‘s dog which was quite aggressive and kept barking at us the entire time. The next-door neighbours also have a son who is intellectually disabled and inaudible, which is fine, however as a result we could hear loud moans through the walls and were only informed of this once we arrived. We felt these both should have been mentioned prior to booking. The entrance to the property begins with a huge, dark, storage room you need to walk through, which was very dirty and not pictured in the booking. Had we seen this you would not have booked the property. The kitchen amenities are very basic, and the air conditioning that is mentioned was very weak and didn’t really do much, making the room quite hot. It’s also worth mentioning that whilst the location says it is within walking distance from the beach, it isn’t really. Positano is built on a cliff, so whilst it mentions being 800 m from the beach, it is more of a 30-minute walk completely up and down steep stairs. There are also no beach towels provided so if you stay here you will need to bring your own. Unfortunately, this property was not up to our standards and as we only had three days in Positano we did not have time to mess about with this property and so we booked a different one upon arriving.
