Tony's Garden House Back Packers inn

This was the perfect place for our 2 nights in Jaffna, wonderful host and very easy scooter renting and laundry service.

Loved the place and Tony is a fantastic host that cares about guests having the best of their time while in Jaffna. Location was perfect, 50mts from the bus stop, in a quite area in front of a gorgeous park and a very short walk or bike ride from restaurants and the city centre and fort. Tony and his partner were super helpful with any matter or question I had. They helped me arrange a bicycle to go around town, a tuktuk tour of the northern side of the peninsula, and find good dining spots. Breakfast was good, based on local foods - they even made it take away on my last day as I had an early bus. I had a private bathroom, which was perfectly clean and the shower was great. Although my room was in the ground floor, I never had any issues with noise coming from common areas.

Linen could have been a bit better, but nothing tragical. Room got a bit stuffy sometimes - normal in the Sri Lankan weather and with mosquito nets on the windows - but the fan was very strong and helped.

Bed was klein, smal en hard.

La gentillesse, le sourire et tous les bons conseils de Tony pour visiter la ville, le nord de la péninsule et les îles. Tout est devenu facile grâce à lui. La terrasse est très agréable, l'endroit plutôt calme où tout est facilement accessible en tuktuk, même à pied du centre quand on a le temps. Je recommande chaudement.

Fantastic stay, nice and central to everything. Tony is super helpful and a very good host. Will definitely stay again and I highly recommend it.

Nothing everything is perfect

Tony est un hôte incroyable, très à l'écoute et arrangeant quant aux besoins et aux demandes des guests. D'un très grand professionnalisme il nous a accueilli comme à la maison. L'ambiance dans la guesthouse est très conviviale; les chambres sont propres et confortables; le petit déjeuner est délicieux. Notre meilleur séjour au Sri Lanka, nous y retournerons sans hésiter. Petit bonus pour les amoureux des animaux, Sophie la labrador de Tony vous tiendra compagnie durant votre séjour et n'hésitera pas à vous demander des caresses.
