The only good thing about this apartment was the view of the mountains, which was truly stunning. Unfortunately, everything else was a disaster, and my stay was anything but relaxing. From the moment I arrived, the problems started. On the first day, there was no hot water – and with temperatures of -5°C outside, this was unacceptable. I contacted the management, only to discover the landlady was in Dubai and controlling the thermostat remotely from there. Why on earth isn’t the thermostat left in the room for guests to adjust? Instead of relaxing, I had to take photos of the heating system and troubleshoot, which completely ruined my first evening. The next day, the heating stopped working again. Same issue, same hassle. Then, on the third day, things got even worse – the water completely cut off for the entire building. No hot water, no cold water, no heating, no shower. Nothing. Imagine dealing with -5°C temperatures outside and no basic amenities inside. Finally, the landlady sent a plumber at 8 AM, waking me up early on what should have been a restful morning. After the repair, she set the thermostat to 24°C, turning the apartment into an unbearable sauna. Sleeping was impossible, but opening the window wasn’t an option because the freezing cold from outside was too harsh. To top it off, the shower leaked every time I used it, so I had to mop the floor daily. This is not what I expect when booking an apartment to relax. Overall, this stay was exhausting and stressful. I’m never coming back. If you’re looking for a peaceful, hassle-free holiday, avoid this place at all costs.
