Not a nice beach, nor neiberhood. Whole night either street dogs are barking or roosters scream ( at night ???) . Naftaline smell and balls in the room.

The accommodation is in a good location for excursions in the southern part of the island. The owners are friendly and helpful. Upon arrival we could choose which room we liked better. The room was not luxurious but it was sufficient for our needs. You can park on the grass across the street or you can also drive your car right in behind the gate at the accommodation.

We were a bit bothered by the smell in the room, which we had to air out every time, and also the low water flow. The hot water flowed only after about 3 minutes. The water ran either hot or cold, nothing in between.

The shared kitchen was stylish and it was a nice place to meet other accommodated people. The owner was very friendly and nice. The lady who cleaned the house every day was very friendly too.

The oven didn't work.

On the whole island, this was the only place where we felt like home. The hostess is very kind and cheerful, she extended our day by a few hours while we waited for a taxi. To get to the most beautiful beaches of Le Morne you have to take a 40-minute walk along a wild beach and go through shallow water - unforgetable adventure! I recommend it! I would love to come back with my family, there is a playground right in front of the house by the beach. Le boulette bought on the road are delicious.

Without a car, it is difficult to shop for fresh vegetables and fruit in this part of the village.

Fantastic location - right by the ocean, next to Le Morne mountain, few people on the beach. The room has a very comfortable bed, refrigerator, and air conditioning. Fully equipped kitchen, very good water pressure, hot water at any time. The staff is invisible, it feels like I'm at home - and they're very helpful! They even washed our motorcycle without asking us when we accidentally got into a big mud puddle :( And their towels are super huge - it was so convenient to take to the beach :)

They treat foreigners differently from Mauritian, and foreigners get better treatment, The host even said to us, " akoz sa mm nou pa louer r Mauritian."
