Sumdo saspochey farmstay

I just found an oasis in Himalayan. This beautiful cozy house is located in a valley , just in the middle from saspol and saspochy. Staying here is an unique experience, difficult to describe. The house is just next to a river, hugged by mountains and surrounded by many fruit trees, as well as vegetables plantations. Waking up by the sounds of the river, together with the sing of the birds, makes the experience blissful. The very loving owner, together with her family, really took care of me, giving me delicious food , directly from her garden , as well as providing me with a comfortable room. The place was closed. The neighbours took care of us. On the phone the landllady of the farmstay could not explain, why she was not there. We accepted the offer to stay at the basic, but very friendly home of the neighbours. Nobody was to be seen at the booking.com-farmstay. Sumdo consists of just 3 houses in the mountainious ladddakh-region. If you rely on this homestay and the weather is poor, you may have a 0real problem. Not to be recommended.
