Blue Hill

I totally loved the last 4 days of our vacation at Blue Hill. It may seem hard to reach being uphill, but if you love to be surrounded by pure nature and are sporty seeking hiking, swimming and a quiet place to stay with all facilities, you have all guaranteed there. The staff is really sweet, they offer 3 meals a day at request, taxi rides at fair prices(taxi is really expensive on Mahe overall) and the rooms are having amazing views over their gardens, are being cleaned everyday and their response in need is very fast. By foot you can reach Victoria on a shorter path that takes 2km, it is not hard if you are in shape and is worthy to walk around locals houses. On your way can see the botanical gardens and a mall to buy all you want at good prices.The pool is also a big joy of the stay there, you can use it at any hour if you don't make big noise. Last and a big surprise for me was that they have their own pound with Aldabra tortoises, super cute ones right at the entrance😍We could play and feed them, they are friendly to visit!! Don't hesitate to book a stay at Blue Hill, is really worth it!

Great view, friendly staff, good location (a car is needed). The restaurant was good, a couple more vegetarian options would be nice – overall, a pleasant stay.

The rooms are a bit dark and the balcony is shared with other guests as it stretches along the building.

Incredible views

Not what we expected - definitely not a 4 star guest house as advertised . Property is not in the best condition and needs a good renovation and upgrade . Terrible smell which comes up the hill from the tuna factory in Victoria - not guest house’s fault but very unpleasant ,

Perfect locatoin and service!

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast very delicious (try the passion fruit fresh juice and the plate with soursop tropical fruit) you will not regret it!

If the furniture in general is replaced with a new one the place will get a new face.
