Kabiraalaya Homestay

Kabiraalay is an exceptional Homestay experience. For (sadly only) three nights, I was warmly welcomed into the family environment. Sharing (incredibly delicious) meals together, talking about Gurkha and regional history, and of course singing Kareoke together! I also was treated to a guided walking tour of Darjeeling by the son Sam. I would wholeheartedly recommend you book a stay at Kabiraalaya Homestay :))

The location is fantastic for Mountain Views, but this does come with a bit of a steep walk down to reach it (thankfully Sam helped with my bags on arrival and departure ☺️). You may well be asked to star on the family social media so fair warning if you are camera-shy hehe

thank you so much for everything ! I had a great stay here and all the service is more than expected before I stayed. especially when I had a problem all the staff supported me with full hospitality. meals are great and you can experience rial family life of darjeeling in kabiraalaya homestay.

Bester Homestay in dem wir je waren. Wir wurden aufgenommen wie Familie. Super liebe Gastgeber und sehr gutes Essen. Rundumversorgung von abholen über lokale Tipps, bis hin zu einer Stadtführung. Wunderschöner Garten, ein kleines Paradies. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen und jeder der sich etwas anderes bucht, verpasst was. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt! Und der kleine Fußweg zur Unterkunft ist nicht weit und absolut machbar...

Excellent home stay and owner family very friendly and also arranged all aminities like car , food , trip guides etc … cool and calm guy and his family, food awesome ❤️❤️

Nothing like but little bit walking to reach property

The house was nice clean, the host were welcoming. Suresh ji and family are nice people.

There’s nothing to dislike!

Our stay was amazing and comfortable and the yummy home cooked food was the cherry on top. Suresh uncle and his wife are the most wonderful hosts and I would definitely stay with them again.

Everythin was good

Everything! We loved eating the delicious home cooked meals and learning the recipes. Suresh and Suju made us feel so welcome. We have learned about the customs and traditions of Darjeeling and it was very helpful to have suggestions and information about places for sightseeing and visiting.

Nothing

Extremely well maintained, with beautiful views and a very comfortable room. The hosts are wonderfully kind people, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great trip. Cannot recommend this place enough.
