"A comfortable base from which to explore the city and its surroundings."

The apartment is located in a quiet residential area within a few minutes walk of the National Museum of Art and a shady public garden with views over the Tegas River. The first floor apartment is within a 3 storey 19c building and has been completely refurbished inside to a high standard. The balcony was pleasant for eating meals outside.

The entrance staircase is quite steep, but is no problem if you are reasonably agile. A washing up bowl would have been useful to conserve hot water in the sink when washing up. Operating instructions for the microwave and induction hob would have been useful, although we did manage to operate most functions by trial and error. Main supermarkets are about 20minutes walk for a main shop, but there are several mini markets nearby for topping up on basic essentials.

"Very nice and comfortable apartment- we reccomend it to anyone"

It is a very nice and comfortable apartment with all the amenities, a nice (looks like newly renovated) bathroom and a lot of light. Communication with the host was very easy, clear and without any troubles. The apartment was very clean when we arrived. Regarding the location: a bus stop is a few meters from the apartment but the train station is about 10 minutes of walking to either side (Santos or Alcantara-Mar).

"Exceptional"

The Place is newly renovated and well equipped. The owner is friendly. And the area is very quiet.

Beautiful located but as we were there buses did not work as usual so we didn't always have an optimal connection to the other areas of the city
