Location of this apartment was why we chose it. However, this apartment turned out to be the best choice we have made in three weeks of traveling Sicily. The host was absolutely amazing and the contact was perfect. Everything from the exact path to walk from the station to setting up and securing us a very early morning Taxi, direct to the airport. The apartment was extremely clean and well taken care of. Everything is modern it included everything we could need, including a coffee maker and tea pot for tea. As a clothes, washer, drying rack, iron, blow dryer, every possible thing you could imagine, including a first aid kit in the drawer. It was immaculate, and a wonderful place to stay. The bed was also extremely comfortable and the pillows were very nice. We cannot speak highly enough of this facility, and if you’re looking to book some thing and Palermo, you will not get anything better live in the heart of Palermo, where this apartment is. I would not ever hesitate to send anybody to this location. It is truly one of the best places you can stay to access everything walking.

The only mishap we had was accidentally turning off the water heater, but that was our fault that we flipped the switch in the bathroom that we didn’t know what it did! The owner was quick to tell us how to reset it, and turn it on, and we had no problems whatsoever. This apartment was amazing.!

Apartment was exactly as described, and very clean.Plenty towels and hot water, good wifi, mossie -proofed. Close to the historic centre , but nonetheless quiet. Apartment was very secure. Host was very supportive and informative.Gave us a good orientation to the city and pointers about where to eat, and gave us his phone number in case we needed any help during our stay.

The apartment was located on a quiet alley at the heart of of Palermo, with 2 min. of walk to the Cathedral, which makes it great to explore the city. The flat was very clean and equipped with everything one could need during the stay, even for an unexpected rain there was an umbrella! During the stay Vito, the host, provided very thorough information about what to explore in the city and where to finde everything. Vito was very friendly and responded the messages very quickly, he was very helpful whenever a question popped!

Smell from the street could come inside the bathroom if the window is left open all the time.

The apartment is in the heart of the city. All of the popular monuments are in walking distance. Moreover, it is in the middle of both open markets Ballaro and Capo. Both are in 5-10 minutes walking distance. In this place, there is no need of a car to enjoy Palermo. The place is extremely clean and well designed. One can find everything that is needed during the stay. I need to spare a whole paragraph for the host Vito. We’ve met really good people in Sicily but Vito was the best amongst them. He helped us a lot. He prepared a list for us to visit, to taste and experience. He explained them as well. Moreover, he even parked our car for us in a perfect parking spot. Hence, the old town is quite small and limited area, it is quite hard to find correct route and parking spot for a foreigner. Everyday, he asked us if we need something and at the end he drove us to the outer circle when we were leaving the city. I don’t know how to thank him more.

There is no terrace, but I don’t think it is needed. Palermo is beatiful. Every corner of the city offers another joy and experience. I prefer to sit outsite and feel the city instead of staying inside.
