The location is nice, you're at the back of an apple and pair orchard however the main view from the house to the hills is obstructed by another property and the photos do not reflect this. It's fairly quiet: we had neighbours listening to etno music and playing ping pong while there was daylight.

Although it is an A frame do not expect it to be the typical A frame, cozy place that you usually encounter in the mountains. This looks like it has been built together by a couple of friends that never had anything to do with construction work. They printed a photo from the web and assembled something. Nothing's straight and water has sipped in through the walls. Every possible piece of furniture and appliance is the cheapest you can find. There is a significant difference in temperature between the bottom floor and the top bedrooms, an issue that could have been sorted with a fan stuck to the ceiling (cheapest possible solution with the cheapest possible fan). That still wouldn't be something necessarily negative however the cleanliness is a disaster. We had hair everywhere from the previous hosts and you could just tell that everything was done in a hurry. An hour after our arrival an old lady came and was standing on the porch waiting for us to pay up, cash. The owner kept calling to ask if we paid. Not exactly a stellar experience as most properties just retrieve the money through Booking or at the very least you get to pay after your stay. If you want it the Austrian way, at least deliver to Austrian standards. I think the old lady does the cleaning as well. We booked for 2 nights but left after one as there was a hornets' nest next to the property and when we started a barbecue outside it was just impossible to enjoy.
