Easy self check in which we really appreciated- lock box and good photos and instructions re parking and access. Lift access up to room which is great with luggage. Was a quiet building. The space was large. Kitchen had everything you needed for self catering and some lollies which was a nice touch. The washing machine worked well and there was an airer and coat hangers which helps everything dry. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was also good.

We had booked choosing air conditioned accommodations but seems like the owner has disconnected it. The outside system is still on the balcony and then inside system in the room but the pipe connecting them has been removed. For our stay it was thankfully a cool summer day so this didn’t impact us but we would have been very annoyed if it was hot and the air conditioning couldn’t be used- does seem like an odd decision, if it is about cost we personally would pay a bit extra to use air conditioning in hot summer conditions. A tea towel in the kitchen would be helpful to dry dishes more easily.

I have booked the apartment setting filter in Booking to only show me the propreties with AC. Upon arriving, the temperature inside the apartment was 28.3 Celsius, so I asked the owner to tell me where is the AC remote, as I couldn't find it. He told me that the AC is broken and he removed the option from the Booking three months earlier. Surprisingly, testing the AC unit without the remote, I discovered it is working ok and I assumed the owner decided to use the facility to attract customers, but to not offer it in reality in order to make some economies on electricity bill probably, on the expense of his customers comfort, though he assured me on the phone he would not do that. Calculating the consumption of the AC for a full day of working, will result in cost of less than 1 euro per day (but I used the AC far less time actually). So for less that 1.5 euro for both days, the owner thought appropriately to deceive, lie and let us stay uncomfortable in the heat. The grade I gave, the first one of this kind after usig Booking for more than 20 years for close to 100 reservations across the Europe, represents my opinion about this kind of commercial behavior.
