Casa Minha Hostel & Bar

I liked the backpacker vibe. It's a certain type of person that travels to Timor Leste, and almost everyone I met was ticking the country off their country count but were still interested in the culture and activities. Nice vibe! The private room was a nice size and had nice air conditioning! They also helped set up my SIM card which was really nice.

The animals are a bit loud, and the place is a bit run down, but everything was functional.

Price was okay for Timorese standard. There are public buses that pass here, if not it's a 15 minute walk from the main road.

Bed is very low and room had a bad smell, but nothing a few sprays of mosquito repellent around wouldn't solve.

The owner was super nice and was really helpful. The vibe is cool and there are not many options of hostels around!

The hostel was not very clean nor the dorms or private room, I had some bites during the night. But I guess considering the prices in Dili and all around Timor, it is a good bargain and you pay for what you get.

The aircon was good, there was free tea and coffee, transfer to and from the airport at very reasonable charge.

Basic, but it's clean. Just a few blocks from Timor Plaza. Also not far from the airport.

if you have no choice about transportation from terminal or airport. you can ask the host to picking up you from there. the host have cute kitten, call it as kalu. get free dinner when i am coming its helpfull, cause i am starving when arrived

sometime the dog make noise at midnight. but the dog not belongs to host.
