Thanh Hằng Homestay

It was in a great location, close to the night market and river. Great restaurants and cafes nearby. The room was very clean. We liked that it had a fridge and kettle. Good value.

The bed was very hard so didn't sleep well.

Fantastic large deluxe double room - upgraded for free. Excellent location. Just a 3 min walk to the wharf for the floating market tours. Lady helped me catch a bus on to Vinh Long. (The coffee+banh mi cafe over the road is great for breakfast and really cheap.)

The host of this homestay is very nice, she welcomed us warmly and was always there to help. For example she rented us a scooter and she helped us organise our onward travel by bus. She also did our laundry and cleaned our room. We felt very welcome at this homestay. The location is great as well, with only 5 minutes to the warft and a lot of streetfood and restaurants within walking distance.

The homestay was rather loud at night. Maybe this was because our room was right next to the hall where a lot of people pass. I recommend earplugs for a sound sleep.

The pictures of this place look quite good, and the room inside did look like the pictures, but that's about it.. The place has been designed with some attention and there are facilities like an electric kettle, exhaust in the bathroom, air conditioning, mirrors in the room (the first time in 2 weeks for me.. The lady helped me book my onward bus tickets and also coordinated my pick up with the bus agency.

The place looked horribly dangerous when I reached and it took almost 10 minutes to see someone who would let me in. It was probably an old lady who did housekeeping, who had no clue. There's construction going on right in front of the house, by the owners themselves. There are iron rods everywhere, water, cement, sand. Really really scary. The place is quite dirty because of the construction. The room was smelly as there is no ventilation. So I had to keep the air conditioner on inspite of a cold weather. There was no hot water next morning for me to shower. It was just bearable in the cold weather, not even Luke warm. I really regretted staying here
