Heritage Line Ylang Cruise - Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay

Outstanding experience, the food, the staff & the service was exceptional. Our flight was also delayed, but the team waited and arranged a later lift to Ylang - nothing was too much trouble.

There isn’t anything we didn’t like - thank you to Heritage Line for putting together such an incredible package and for such first class service in beautiful surroundings.

The crew were fantastic.

We spent 3 days and 2 nights cruising in Lan Ha Bay, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The ship had around 10 guests on board and more than twenty crew members, so the service felt truly attentive and personal. A special mention goes to Ms. Phuc, the manager, who took excellent care of us throughout the trip. She guided our excursions, led the onboard workshops, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and well looked after. Her professionalism and kindness really stood out. The excursions were well-organized, and we never felt crowded by other tourists — a huge plus in such a popular area. There were no kayaks available during our stay, but this was due to a temporary government restriction while the region is being reorganized, so not the fault of the cruise. The food was good overall; although during our longer trip around Vietnam we had even better dinners elsewhere. The breakfasts were excellent, especially the pho cooking station and freshly prepared eggs. If there was one area that didn’t fully meet expectations, it would be the welcome lounge, which felt quite average considering the cruise is operated by one of the most premium companies in the bay. Despite that, the cruise itself was relaxing, scenic, and very enjoyable. Thank you to the whole team for making our time in Lan Ha Bay memorable.

A little bit too much humidity in the room

We could not fault the cruise. The staff were absolutely excellent. The food was delicious and the presentation and service was 5 star. The cruise manager Ms Phuc was fantastically helpful and the friendly. The chef was absolutely outstanding. The waiters, Wendy, Willie, Duke and Huang and the massage ladies Lien and Hyong were extremely efficient and very well trained and gave top level service. As you can see we were very satisfied with our cruise and would recommend it and the Heritage Lines to any of our friends who want to plan a cruise in HaLong Bay

We had no complaints at all. The internet reception was rather intermittent but we were after all in the middle of HaLong Bay, so it was quite surprising that we had any internet at all.

Great staff , scenery , food and luxury boat

Quite expensive. Other similar standard of boats were all heavily discounted. I'd shop around for the best deals
