Breakfast was good with lots of varieties every day to suit our long stay. The location was convenient (only 500m away from the beach).

There is no gym / fitness centre at the hotel.

Very nice small hotel with lovely staff. Food excellent and nice pool. Amazing garden. Lovely breakfast. Lots of fresh fruit.

A difficult room key - hard to lock the balcony for example. A bit strange to have sea water in the tap to shower & to brush your teeth in. We had the unfortunate luck to sit next to a frensh family that was smoking a lot, both at breakfast and dinner. Would be so nice to have a smoking area. My kids left the table 3 times because of the horrible smoke - and we were sitting outside…

"Relaxing paradise"

Beautiful quiet hotel located 8 mins from a small beach and 12 mins from a larger one. The premises are amazing with comfortable spacious rooms, a beautiful garden and pool. The staff and owners are lovely and can recommend/organize almost anything. The biggest surprise for us was the food - we've been to other places in Zanzibar, this was hands down the best we ate.

We had a lovely stay in the deluxe double room with a balcony – really spacious and comfortable, with a gorgeous view over the garden and pool. The bathroom was well thought out with plenty of shelves and hooks, and the open wardrobe in the room was a nice touch. The garden itself was stunning – the owners grow their own fruit, which added a really special feel to the place. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh fruit platter, pastries and bread with spreads, plus a different fresh juice each morning alongside tea or coffee. Eggs were available too – scrambled, poached, however you liked. Everything felt fresh and varied day to day. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Having a car was handy as it gave us more flexibility to explore nearby beaches.

Only small suggestions would be a few more hangers in the room, maybe smoothies on the breakfast menu, and a welcome pack with local info and tips.
