Villa Apoplous with pool

The location and its terrace are the best things about Villa Apoplous. It’s a few minutes’ walk to the town centre and beach - you can take the steps opposite the village or walk down the road. The large terrace overlooks the sea to the west and there is a range of furniture so you can enjoy the sunsets. The villa had everything we needed. It was nice to have air con in the bedrooms as it was hot during our stay. The outside shower was welcome when we’d come back from the beach. The welcome basket was a nice touch. The communication with the host was excellent - answering any questions I had promptly.

We loved it for the reasons above. If you’re looking for the swankiest kitchen or shower room, then you probably could find an alternative on the same road (likely to be for a higher price) but as we ate out most days, and location/ terrace more important to us, this wasn’t really a dislike for us.

Pool privacy but it didn’t really matter. We loved having it

The view from the terrace over the back bay of Assos is stunning. The villa itself was a decent size for a couple, but you don't pay to be indoors here - the outside terrace is where you want to be, and it offers various seating / laying options. Inside it was clean and comfortable enough: simply furnished in a Greek style rather than luxury / boutiquey, which was just fine by us because Assos is a simple, rustic place. We love the town for that quiet, rustic feel (other than the times where the tourist buses come in and 100 people come for a walkaround) and have stayed here on several occasions at various places, this may well be our favourite of them.

Some of the air conditioning units are quite old and one in the kitchen failed during our stay, but the managers sent a guy out same day and he was able to fix it.

Fabulous location

Amazing place in the perfect location in Assos. The view from the balcony is incredible, the accommodation was spotlessly clean and really comfortable and the pool was perfect after a day in the sun. The washing machine was also really handy for a family trip. Thanks for having us, it couldn’t have been better.
