Room for 2 in Camps Bay

Not as advertised. Maria was not expecting us but I had a printout of our dates from booking .com. She told us to go to the beach and come later. Showed us the room. Terrible. A d then we were expected to share a bathroom with another guest. We could only have the double room for 1 night. This is not an apartment but 1 room In a house . Owners live in it. Cooking smells. Bathroom not up to standard. At all!! We had paid booking. Com. Maria said it was not enough. We left and did not take up the accommodation. Please don’t go here. We were left late afternoon scrambling for accommodation.

Not really anything....was very disappointed with stay. We tried to phone Booking .com on arrival to ask for refund and to stay somewhere else but with no success, maybe because of public holiday?

Advertise that there is safe parking on premises but had to park outside in street with no security. House stinks inside. No windows open. On arrival, no one could assist as the one owner is too poor to stand up from stool and can't talk. No privacy as you share house and facilities with owner. Can't use kitchen as owner is constantly busy inside it. Had to ask for toilet paper as there was nothing in both bathrooms in the morning. Communal bathrooms was also not cleaned during entire stay. Empty shampoo and hand soap bottles stood in bathroom entire stay. Dirty used toothbrushes entire time on basin. Bedding poor....only 1x cheap thin pillow per bed. Braai area full of garden rubble. I took photos of everything I am complaining about.

The garden and the view are incredible. There is a bus very close by tagt takes you everywhere. Maria and Peter are lovely and very welcoming.

The shared bathroom but it was mentioned in the listing so it’s really not a problem but a separate bathroom would make the property 100% better
