Yardarm Motel

Very good in an old home.

Non manca niente. E' un po' strano non vedere mai il personale, ma c'erano vari cartelli con simpatiche spiegazioni. Il motel si trova esattamente di fronte alla fermata delle corriere (bus extraurbani), dove c'e' anche un bar che vende panini ecc. Sempre lì c'e' anche Hamilton Marine (megastore di nautica). Il centro si raggiunge anche a piedi in 20 minuti circa.

Forse si puo' migliorare l'impianto di climatizzazione.

Everything! We were on our honeymoon. The room was large and clean. Being the end of the season it was really quiet. We are discussing coming back for our 1 year anniversary!

We loved all of it!

The room we reserved was rather small since we were staying several days. The owner had a double room available and was happy to upgrade us. The room was northwoods rustic with a remodeled bath and refurbished room interior, an air conditioner, refrigerator, and microwave. The blueberry muffins with the contental breakfast were yummy. There was a deck and lawn furniture to enjoy the outdoors. The owner lives on the property and was available to accomodate guest needs. The new owner is continuing to upgrade the inside and outside of the property. The location is perfect with easy access to Belfast and Bar Harbor. The Poseidon tree scuplture on the property was done by a famous arist and is a must see.

If your staying several days reserve a larger room.

Wall heater was about 18 inches from bed. As it was cold we had to move the bed so heat would spread through room.

Breakfast fine. Cereals, fruit , muffins, toast , yoghurt, juice and usual range of hot drinks. Self service coffee available till 9pm. Good range of books amd games to borrow. Availability of firepit for guests a bonus.

There is nothing to dislike.
