Diocletian Luxury Room

Excellent location being within the palace and tucked away from the everyday crowds. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom and room was very spacious and included desk, mini fridge, couch and large screen tv.

Musty smell to room on first arrival but once you put the humidifier on it is very comfortable.

Location was.good

Damp musky smell .. yeah there was a dehumidifier left in the room but that smell and damp gets into your clothes and chest after a short time

A treasure nestled in one corner of the Diocletian Palace - a luxurious, well appointed room in the heart of the historic palace. Breakfast at nearby hotel was delicious. Highly recommend but do arrange for owner’s son to meet you outside the Palace as it is a difficult place to find on your own.

Tour groups walk right past your door periodically as the Vestibule and the Ethnographic Museum are close by.

Lovely little room in a perfect locations for exploring Split, it felt very safe, clean and comfortable. If we come back to split we will absolutely stay here again!

Nothing not to like

Loved our stay. The room is super well located and everything is walkable. It was super clean and equipped too. We will definitely be back !!

Location was exellent, central and close to many things. Room was very modern and spacious with all the conveniences. Buskers often play music or sing in the vestibule near our room. It was very cool listening to them from the comforts of our room. We ate breakfast once st the restaurant just outside our room - it was excellent, but maybe too much food. Ante was so helpful, meeting us at the bus station near the marina and taking our luggage and us to the apartment - pretty sure we wouldn't have found it on our own in the dark, and after some long flights it was super appreciated that Ante pulled our luggage for us through the castle to our room. Highly recommend this place, but be sure to have Ante meet you and take you to your room.

Location was awesome! Right in the middle of the palace!

Beautiful apartment, felt like a 4 star hotel. The owner's son met me at the parking lot and helped with my heavy luggage, and he helped also at check out to carry my luggage back out. He's very strong! The apartment had everything I needed and more. The bathroom is well stocked with extra towels, slippers, toilet paper, etc. there's a kettle to make coffee if needed. Wifi worked great. Apartment was very spacious (I live in NYC as reference so I'm used to tight spaces).

There's a lot of stairs to get to the apartment, but thankfully the owner's son helped with luggage. Just make sure that he's going to be around before booking otherwise you might have to figure out how to get your luggage to/from the apartment!

Kind hosts, epic location, in the thick of it all, but still quiet and peaceful. Loved the room, very luxe. Pictures don’t do it justice.
