Diocletian Luxury Room

Location is remarkably central within the palace walls (a few min walk from closest street) but still pretty quite as The Vestibule separates it from the crowds. Very comfortable small room that is a rented out guest room with door directly to outside.

Check in can be complicated, they’re very helpful via email. I arrived without international phone and had to go to a nearby hotel and call the owners to meet up. For a quick 1 night again I would just do a real hotel with on site help but this place is great if you want central location and your own space.

We've stayed here before & loved it so much we came back again. Location was top notch, in the middle of everything. Host was very accommodating & friendly. Room was spotless & even included a complimentary fruit platter & bottle of local wine on arrival. TV had excellent range of channels so I was able to watch some football. Roomy shower & ensuite. Fast wifi. Great little place. Decor was what we were looking for. Old stone walls mixed with modern touches.

May get a little noisy outside occasionally during peak season, but that is to be expected in that location.

this was my first time booking through booking.com and I was really nervous, since I usually stick to hotels. they were SO responsive and accommodating pre, during, and post stay I was so impressed! customer service was the best I’ve had and the room was BEAUTIFUL!! better than a luxury hotel in the area we paid more for. bathroom is luxurious. location is literally right next to the main square of the palace. cant beat location; though it can get a little noisy if people are directly outside. we had a sound machine so it wasn’t a problem. can’t get any better.

the only tiniest complaint would be that the bed could be sliiightly more comfortable. a foam mattress pad on top would really make it perfect :)
