The only good thing about the property is the location. But would book the Regent hotel next time instead which is right next door (unfortunately was fully booked) but I would have got much better value for money.

Our building (Tara residence) is completely unstaffed so if you need help (which we did) you’re basically screwed. They just leave a phone number there for you to call (not WhatsApp) which is utterly ridiculous seeing as the number wouldn’t ring from a UK sim. Our wifi didn’t work at all and ruined the first two days of the trip. After numerous complaints through booking.com (as this was the only way I had of contacting them) someone finally got back to me through WhatsApp. The issue was eventually resolved but half our holiday was over by then. We booked the room for two adults, given one double bed and only a single duvet which was completely inadequate. The water in the shower ran cold and I complained about this too they offered to send someone in on our last day so was no point by then. There is no ‘private pool’ it’s a tiny pool shared by the whole building. No hot tubs despite advertising them. No additional toiletries only 2 toilet rolls and a tiny shampoo etc so ended up having to buy our own when we ran out as of course there’s nobody at reception. Huge safety concerns as the building was left unstaffed the whole time we were there and they had master keys displayed on the walls for anyone to access. I could have taken whichever keys I wanted and accessed any of the apartments. They demand €800 euro deposit as soon as you get there - the lady followed me in and wouldn’t leave me alone as I was having trouble using my cards there but she wasn’t even giving me a minute to get myself sorted. Then on checkout they made us wait over half an hour for someone to check the apartment before releasing our deposit to us. Overall a disappointing stay as you expect so much more for the price paid. The apartment is very basic and I wouldn’t recommend it.
