GBWe loved everything from the moment we arrived. The room was fantastic, the location excellent, the service exceptional, and the homemade breakfast was a real highlight. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I find myself in Barrea in the future. Highly recommended!
AUIl Bucaneve is a small BNB a short walk from the old town of Barrea. It has great views - I even saw a deer eating in the bushes next door. The lady who was running the place didn’t speak any English but she made a delicious breakfast with home made cake. It was super quiet.

ITAUIl Bucaneve is a cosy, clean and well positioned guesthouse with superb views over the lake and town. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the host was friendly and accommodating. I was travelling on a motorcycle and the host provided a secure parking space.
