Marand Beach Resort

I love the location. Beach front and there’s a swimming pool too. Far from noisy neighborhood. Breakfast is good. Bed was comfy. Good for family travel and for those who are looking for a quiet place.

I requested something special for my son’s birthday celebration and nothing was prepared, Internet connection is not good,

paid extra for hidden charges for taxes as advised by the staff. Price should be all inlcusive already as this is a form of customer deciept and unfair practice. If I knew I have to pay additional, I would have not booked there.

Breakfast was good and the location was quiet.

We had trouble getting the TV to work in the room. Also the hotel shut down their restaurant on very short notice due to a banquet they were hosting and it left us having to scramble to get dinner for our family.

Room description is misleading. We booked for a room with a seaview but there it is just pool view or garden view available. Staff said the sea view rooms are only for family rooms. Other rooms are just near the beach.

It was cozy and the beach was great.

Overpriced. It was priced as a premium resort but the actual resort wasn’t a premium offering. We had no hot water in our shower; the beds weren’t very comfortable; the pool was under constant renovation. The resort didn’t really offer much to do.

They have beautiful Pool and garden , its covenient bec it has Beach front but the Beach shore has lots of garbage. Each resort should clean thier Beach shores .

Poorly maintained resort. Dirty, the room we had stunk, molds in the bathroom, flies everywhere in the dining area, had to fill out double forms at the checkin. They can't even accommodate my request of 1 bed instead of the twin bed. Too many staff hanging around doing nothing when the place need more attention & care. Food is of low quality, not much choices. Poorly run resort. Never coming back. For 120aud per night in the Philippines this place is a total rip-off.
