Located close to Brecon and wonderful scenery

Breakfast was well cooked , fresh and delicious there was a lovely homely feel to the accommodation and Sue was very good at remembering what drinks we liked etc bus stop just outside made getting to brecon town easy

We would have liked a double room but this wasn't available when we booked.

breakfast was very nice. the room was clean and tidy although very dated. the hotelier was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. its a pity the pub isn't used more by the villagers.

Charming pub/B&B. Lovely host and her adorable little dog. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of both cooked and cold options. Really enjoyed the fresh strawberries and blueberries. As it’s a couple of miles from Brecon we also had evening meals which were also very good. Very comfortable beds.

Nothing, everything was lovely and such value for money.

Sue was so welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a very relaxing break and I'd recommend it if you're looking for some quality R&R.

Quiet & friendly setting, excellent facilities. All produce is local & home cooked. A perfect place to stay if you are hill walking.

Friendly welcome & lovely dog called Paddy. Hostess went out of her way to accommodate us & provided an early breakfast too. Immaculate room & bathroom. It was wonderful to be able to return from an evening out to a warm welcome & drink from the bar.

Lovely room, lovely people and paddy of course. I would highly recommend staying there, I had a very homely feeling and felt at ease. It’s far nicer to have a personal approach rather than an impersonal big hotel.

The floor made some noice while walking on it and my partner heard it when I got up in the middle of the night for the toilet, but he would probably have woken up anywhere else as well. And it gives it that old building character feeling so I kind of liked it as well.
