Stubbhuggets Lillstuga

The Palace was nice, but near The mainhouse. We wasn't there night over.

The toilet and shower was in separate house, 20 meters away from the "stuga". Bad. It wasn't mentioned in the brochure! It where not been good to go in the darkness to the toilette. The shower area was also not so nice. We was outside about 45 mints, and thinking what we do. Same time looking for other possibilities. Very quiet, none at home. We decided to stay, and I drove my car near the "Stuga" to take out our luggages. Then suddenly was someone at home ! A lady was screaming on the door, " Don't drive on the greens" ! That was the point, we drove away. We was there 45 mints, why she didn't came out and ask; "can I help you somehow". It was really not nice experience of this place!! Therefore we want have our money back. The reason is that, it was not mentioned that the shower/toilet are in separate place. Difficult to go to shower and to the toilette in the darkness. A Hidden Gem in Trosa! My stay here was absolutely wonderful! The place is beautifully charming, spotless, and perfectly cozy. The surroundings are breathtaking—Trosa’s beauty is truly something special, and this accommodation made it even more magical. The host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, making sure everything was perfect for my stay. I loved it so much that I’m already dreaming of coming back for a longer stay just to relax and enjoy this lovely retreat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, nature, and a touch of Swedish charm! Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

It was so beautiful and comfortable

Cozy studio in a magnificent location. Trosa is just a short bike ride away.

The Lillstuga was a lovely little stuga that was nicely decorated. The kitchen had high-quality kitchen utensils. The adjacent building with our own private toilet en shower was very comfortable and warm. The owner received us warmly and explained everything. She even kept the chickens, rooster and cats inside of we wanted. That was not necessary for us. You can't get more rural than this. In short, highly recommended!

If you're still deciding where to stay in Trosa, stop looking! This beautiful cabin is in the middle of the woods, yet it is quite close from Trosa town centre by bike or car. The environment is spectacular and you'll only share it with the warming host family who live just across, and the local fauna :) We only stayed for one night (we were so sad to leave) and still were able to explore the beautiful surroundings by bike during sunset (provided for free by the hosts). We strongly recommend the ride, as we were able to spot deers, foxes, many rabbits and squirrels, etc. The cabin itself is beautifuly decorated and with an incredible attention to detail. It also applies to the separate bathroom/laundry cabin, which has more than everything you'll need. It even has Rituals ammenities and some crocks you can use to walk around the garden. We are still dreaming of our stay here ;)
