NZIt is always a good idea to stop here. One of the friendliest people I have met in the three years of traveling around. They are super kind, have a super nice accommodation and can give some good advice. The beds are great, the lounge is super cozy, the kitchen tidy and the dining are just as you want it. The overall feeling is just nice, warm, welcome.

Limited check in and check out times. Only .5 gb of Internet before you have to pay. Staff and postings were pushy and non inviting/welcoming. Bunks too close to the ceiling, kept hitting my head.

NLWe had no other option for the date but to stay here. It was overpriced to what it offers. But in general, it's an ok hostel offering a shared kitchen in the location we needed.
It’s very old and hasn’t been updated for a while. The upper beds are not very safe, don’t have a little fence, so one can fall in the night, and they are really high up and difficult to climb. We booked the whole room for us, so it was fine, but if you are with strangers there is very little privacy, no curtain and nothing that modern hostels offer. There were not enough cutlery for everyone during breakfast, so some guests offered us to use their personal cutlery given the situation. All the equipment in the kitchen is quite old, and the washing practices also seem a bit outdated and put in general a question on the cleanliness of everything. Overall, it gave me an impression that owners invest nothing into hostel in the last 10-20 years.
