Amazing location, close to the lake, clean and comfortable. Staff were also very nice.

Breakfast could be better with the inclusion of some fresh fruit / veggies.

The breakfast was excellent a wide range of cereal fruits eggs bread and meat and cheese

Everything was clean and tidy. The room has been tidied up and cleaned every day.

Cheese and bacon was not open buffet for the breakfast. I also expected some olives for the breakfast in a country of olives. Those, who think the breakfast is great, are probably having a breakfast with cofee and croissants and have surely not seen a Turkish breakfast. Shampoo was in small packages and there were two packages per person. In the next days, we ran out of shampoo, because no new package has been added after our usage.

Excellent location, very nice hotel owners and good breakfast. A bit unusual without TV in a hotel room nowadays but not disturbing. Very good restaurants in Moniga, better quality for money than in Desenzano, no turist traps.

This is a great value hotel, very near to the port of Monega and Lake Garda. It's location was ideal for us, as it was a 5 minute walk down to the lovely bars and restaurant on the harbour at Monega. Plenty of parking at the front of the hotel for the number of rooms/guests. It is family run, and the host (Roberto) and his family made us very welcome. Our double room was not big, but it was perfect for our requirements and had a great balcony overlooking the lake (most rooms seem to have this) Okay, the hotel is not modern and plush in any way the size of the shower in our room always made it a bit of a challenge. but the hotel has a very comfortable and relaxed feel. Recommended for travellers who wish to spend their time enjoying all that Monega and the beautiful area has to offer. Breakfast and the overall service was good.

The size of the showers has been mentioned before; not much room to move around ! Some of the decor inside and outside is a bit dilapidated, but we thought added to the charm. The cost of making changes would no doubt increase the room prices considerably, which would lose some of it's appeal. The Hotel du Lac may not suit everybody, but we visit the area to see our daughter every year and will definitely use this hotel again.

I had a great stay for 4 days. It felt very homey and peaceful. The hotel has a prime location and for the price point offers a really good experience. The staff was always friendly, always helpful and very welcoming. The room was basic but complete and comfortable, with a wonderful view over the lake. They cleaned the bathroom and made the bed everyday. The food at the hotel’s restaurant was outstanding, homemade and really not expensive for the amounts you get. The breakfast was good, with the possibility to order more if desired and having fresh coffee.

The staff is really friendly and the location was great

Breakfast was simple but really tasty. Staff is very very friendly and try their best to help you and give advice where to swim or where to eat. I had a really good experience and we want to come again every year for the hotel Du Lac
