Hotel Violetta

Initially, it seemed like a reasonable price.

We have been travelling across Europe by bicycle for the past five weeks, and this is the first time we have encountered difficulty accommodating our bicycles. The staff at the hotel essentially said that we could lock them up outside ourselves and assume responsibility for them, but they would not allow them in the hotel. Our bicycles are our raison d’etre at this point, so we were forced to look for alternate accommodation, even though we had paid, and the payment was nonrefundable. The hotel looks somewhat rundown, and the neighbourhood is rather sketchy. The desk staff and proprietor were Rude and dismissive.
