La Basilica Apartaments

Perfect location. Very close to all attractions, santa cruz, close to the castle, close to the main beach, close to trams, so we were able to move around quickly, generally in the heart of old city, but not that really noisy as we were warned in comments by others (I was travelling Apr/May with 6y and 2y kids and we were able to sleep peacefully). The hosts were very helpful and flexible which I'm really grateful for.

To be honest everything was ok, maybe some minor faults which happen in every place where people live, they could be fixed by the occasion (like fixing closure for windows to make them work smoothly).

Loud in the night

The location is great. It is close to the beach and other interesting places around. The appartment has everything needed. A lot of stores around. Easy to reach Postiguet beach (7 min walking) or San Juan beach with a tram 3 (up to 30min in one way).

A bit noisy at 4am when the bar is closed and people are going back home: they sing a lot and it feels like party. Those who is sleeping in the main bedroom or on the sofa may hear them. Also I recommend to change pillows because these were too small and not very comfortable.

Our host provided her number so that we could tell her when we were arriving at the apartment from the airport and was there to meet us

Very minor point, the main bedroom door squeaks when you open it, a bit of oil and it will be fine, One of the outer doors in the bedroom did not close properly a bit of adjustment and it will be fine.
