Alternative country house 10 minutes from Athens airport

We booked explicitly for the two bedrooms as two friends traveling together. Our search and booking explicitly were for 2-bedroom properties with two people listed on the reservation. Upon arrival, the 2nd bedroom was locked. We messaged the host around 2pm, and received no response. Upon finally calling the host around 7pm, we were told that (a) we needed to inform them during booking that we wanted both bedrooms (something that was nowhere in the booking instructions or confirmation) and (b) that we should've messaged them earlier in the day because it was "Too late to do anything now". After telling them that we had, in fact, messaged them earlier in the day they claimed we didn't. Despite having a timestamped message. The host made absolutely no attempt to solve the issue, was quite rude, and lied to our face. What's the point in booking a 2-bedroom place if you only get one bedroom and the host won't do anything about it?

The place was probably used as a cafe/bar before so it was an interesting experience to stay

The neighborhood feels rather unsafe but it is really close to the airport so it was good for us

Hard to find. Bed was hard The directions were not right on booking.com Outside lights near bedroom left on. Should be turned off

Stravos was so helpful & made sure we knew exactly where we were going and made sure we had the information for transfers to & from airport (€25-€35) we walked to the beach close by for dinner it was perfect for our short layover in Athens.

It was cheap

The property was fine BUT the reaction of our hosts after we left was horrible. I cleaned everything took out the garbage and we didn’t even use the towels or have a shower. After we left, thinking I had left the place spotless. We were sent photos of our sheets which were slept in and accused of ripping the head board which we did not. They called me a liar and that I should be ashamed and that I was the worst guest they ever had. We could not have been in the place for more than 8hrs. I assumed they would change the sheets between guest and did not expect to be called names. These people should not manage a property they obviously have no idea how to run accommodations or be polite. Or change the sheets between guests Plus it’s in the middle of nowhere. Don’t try and sleep in there are planes roaring over head from 7am onwards. The road out front is busy and noisy too. Which is all a real shame as the place was nice inside but the rest really sucks
