Condo Yalku - Private access to Lagoon

In my opinion the best thing about this place is private access to the lagoon. Take your snorkeling kit, you can make good use of it around this place. Also the area seems secure with fence and gatehouse on the entrance.

The place itself could be better cared for. It has huge potential but someone needs to spend a little more time and money to make the stay in this place unforgettable.

This property is superb for its location: free trail access to Yal-Ku Lagoon. It also has excellent security. Neighborhood is calm, pleasant, peaceful. Wifi was fully functional. Rental was available for family of 5 when our previous reservation canceled on us with short (13 day) notice.

Facility was tired. Smells of mold. Advertised 2 double beds + 1 large double bed (King) was actually just 1 double plus 1 king. Furniture is failing (couch broken in middle). Advertised dryer does not exist; existing washer we were unable to get working. Plumbing was problematic: toilets did not have proper seats, one toilet only flushed with tank lid removed and interior lever pulled by hand, one bathroom sink did not run water, another bathroom sink did not run hot water, kitchen drain was marginal with water backing up to fill both sides of the sink. Master door does not swing more than halfway closed. Master mini-split (A/C) does not work, although the other 2 mini-splits are functional.

La ubicación es magnífica. Si quieres nadar en una laguna llena de vida sin que nadie te moleste, este es tu lugar. El departamento está amplio y muy bien equipado. Vamos a regresar pronto! Gracias a Chris por sus atenciones.

Unfortunately I can not say anything positive regarding this property.

Where shall I start....1) no information was given regarding access to the property. 2) the place was exceptionally dirty 3) no hot water for over 26hours 4) kitchen sink tap was broken and leaking dirty water 5) broken furniture 6) some lights not working 7) some fans not working 8) paint peeling off the walls

The location is good. It is located between akumal and tulum

Not clean.it is obvious that the place was not cleaned for a while. The smell was unpleasant and also there is a lot of insects. We even found a big black scorpion in the bathroom of the bedroom let alone 3 skinks inside the house. Also there is not hot water in the shower. We contacted the owner to ask about hot water and his answer was to leave the shower open for 5 minutes. When we contacted him later to tell him that we did that and there is no hot water still, he just decided to ignore our message. We paid a lot of money to stay in this property for 4 days and it was a nightmare. Definitely not satisfied and never coming back again !
