Villa Enea Monopoli

Très jolie maison dans une rue résidentielle, calme. Accueil très chaleureux de Luigi et Cristian qui nous ont fait nous sentir comme chez nous. La chambre est spacieuse comme un petit appartement. Luigi parle français et anglais. Nous avons aussi aimé la piscine entre les oliviers et les cactus. Nous avons adoré le petit-déjeuner avec un buffet complet. Les livres italiens et anglais à disposition et le petit cadeau clin d'oeil en partant.

Luigi was a lovely host and went out of his way to make sure we had a fantastic visit to Monopoli. We wanted to go to a popular fish restaurant in Monopoli called La Taverna de Mecanti but we couldn’t get a table. Luigi called and managed to get us one which was very kind of him. The villa is in a nice quiet spot but close enough to Monopoli. The villa was clean and had a lovely pool at the back. We really enjoyed our stay. Also breakfast was very nice, we particularly enjoyed the frittata and the little bread with fresh tomato.

Luigi was a great host, giving good guidance and suggestions.

Breakfast was excellent. Location was further from the Centro than what we expected.

Driving to the unit at night was difficult due to lack of lighting on the roadway. Didn’t like having to park on the road.It was a bit narrow

The location was really good for visiting nearby villages/towns like Monopoli, Alberobello, Polignano a Mare etc. The room is also nice and big.

Breakfast was too early (until 9.30 am), which meant that we have to wake up earlier than usual on vacation. The bathroom was too small and there was nowhere to hang the towels. Towel change and room cleaning were also subject to an extra charge (€6 and €20 respectively), which is unusual.

Attentive host and excellent breakfast. Very peaceful with several areas to sit outside. Excellent value.

Too far from shops or restaurants to walk. Parking was at the side of a narrow road. Luigi spoke limited English but tried his best. The steps into the swimming pool are not very safe

The location was perfect. In a quite area 10min from Monopoli. The hosts Cristian and Luigi were very kind, welcoming and offered great breakfast in the morning. The BnB was clean and comfortable. If I visit Puglia again we will definitely be staying here again.

This place exceeded our expectations! Communication with Cristian and Luigi prior to check-in and throughout our stay was very easy. We only met Luigi in person, but he was so welcoming and happy to help us with anything we needed. The room is fairly spacious, however the bathroom is on the smaller size (coming from a Canadian, Europe in general just has smaller bathrooms). The room had a mini fridge for us to store a few snacks/drinks in. We found the bed to be comfortable. The location is situated perfectly to be able to explore the surrounding towns from any direction. Breakfast was between 8:30-9:30am and had a variety of options to choose from. The pool was SO nice after a hot day walking around town, or after visiting a crowded beach. The back yard is so serene and relaxing, we absolutely loved it. The value of this place is incredible and I highly recommend it!

The only suggestion I have is to maybe put some hooks in the bathroom or somewhere in the room to hang your towels on :)
