Tir na nOg - A Piece of Heaven

Very nice home and hosts. The facilities were more than adequate and the house was very clean. The host were helpful when dad couldn't open the patio doors, and even though we didn't need to, they were available if we needed it. They very sweetly left milk, chocolates, and a bottle of wine. There were 3 very friendly hens and a dog.

The WiFi was non-existent, which made looking up things for day trips difficult. The road down too the accommodation was difficult to drive even for us who live in country roads.

The cottage was spacious, well equipped and situated in a beautiful area. it comfortably accommodated us and our family. The views from the main bedroom and lounge were spectacular. Our hosts were great and concerned about our comfort. The peace and quiet were just what we needed, no hustle and bustle, no traffic noises, only the sounds of chickens and cows. Very relaxing.

Very friendly hosts and neighbours, we had a very nice stay at Tir na nOg in April 2023! Everything was provided in the house, even cot and bath for the baby.

Toby and Liz were super hosts, great to share ideas and locations to visit. A lovely home, very quiet area on a peaceful country lane. Easy access to lots of areas/activities along the three peninsulas of Mizen, Sheep’s Head and Beara. Bantry itself, just 5 mins by car, a lovely, easy-going town, great to just ramble around. We would love to get back to explore more!!
