Gästehaus Sektstuuf St. Laurentius

Large and attractive apartment with kitchen and wine fridge. Excellent was their Laurentius Sekt, with the Frühstück. very nice hosts.

The two double beds are fine for 2 couples, but maybe less so for 4 single people. they really need separate beds. (i suggest adding a foldable bed) All the rest was fine.

It's clean, spacious and more than perfect for a short stay. They had coffee, tea and milk ready for us in the room. The bathroom had enough towels and also a hairdryer. We found the stay very comfortable although we didn't use the kitchen at all. Check-in was smooth, our keys were left in a locker and clear instructions sent.

The reception is almost never open and there was no one ever available. So you basically have to figure out yourself. I called the reception a couple of times on the day of the checkout and they said they would be there until 10AM but upon going there, everything was closed and no one was around. They also said we can take drinks from the fridge, on the house. We never found anything. While the stay is really comfortable, having staff with clear timings would make a positive difference for a traveller new in the area.

Tasefully decorated, with high quality materials, spacy appartment with easy location, free park, near the river, quiet location, in nice not overrun village surrounded by winery walkways and great viewpoints over the river. In the village you also find some top wineries like St Laurentius and Nick Weis. The restaurant downstairs is not to be missed, the breakfast served in the room a great idea. Considering the great qpr we should have stayed longer.

Friendly and hospitable hosts, lovely quiet location close to the river and the village, spacious apartment. easy to park and have dinner at the onsite restaurant. breakfast is served creatively in a coolbag, and you can choose to eat in the apartment (all kitchen facilities available), or outside on the sunny terrace.

Good value for the money, but don’t expect top notch quality of the furniture. Most are în good shape, certainly clean. Some felt the pass of time a bit harder.
