The family staff are so welcoming and funny and it is what makes the hotel stand out ! Greatseaview as well. Breakfast was served at the terrace with great seaview again. The owner/ staff will even come in the room with you as u check in to explain everything you need to know in the room and he was so so nice He would go out of the way to welcome you !

Just a bit far from positano the main town. Theres a bus but I find it hard to get around. We ended up walking 25 minutes to the main town when we first arrived as free shuttle bus service ended at 11am. But we were able to get a bus back at night after we figure out how to buy tickets

ll Barilotto was an amazing place to stay. Jeovanni and his neice are doing an amazing job running this place! They really treated my husband and I like family. We stayed in two separate rooms and both rooms were very clean and stocked with toiletries. The jacuzzi was the best part. The king room with the spa bath has two separate balconies and so worth the money. After a long day at the beach and crazy amounts of WALKING UP STAIRS, the jaccuzi felt like heaven. Because the location is kind of far from the main beach, I advise you to call and book the SHUTTLE to the hotel in advanced. It is too far to walk and taxis charge too much! I wish the shuttle services had more hours and wish they notified guests about shuttle services prior to our arrival.

Lovely hotel the the most welcoming owner who couldn’t do enough for you. A real bonus when you are staying abit further out as he would offer to take you to the centre FOC at certain times throughout the day. A true sweetheart. The dining area overlooked the beautiful views as did breakfast

Absolutely, everything was amazing! The location was close enough to Positano, yet quiet. The host was amazing. We loved the little chats and how welcoming everyone was. The breakfasts on the patio are something we will always remember. Amazing views and great food. The rooms were very clean, and the views were breathless. Highly recommend it as a place to stay if you visit Positano!

Traditional, family run, personal touch, friendly, Giovanni and the family always went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Views were stunning and the breakfast was a feast or natural and homemade delights. Shuttles go Positano and the recommendations to eat were always perfecto. Missing it already and we are still at the airport.
