The room and bathroom were very nice and comfortable.

Cleaning, changing linens and towels were not performed for six days. Likewise, means for cleaning the room were missing.

The room is part of an old house, a family-run business, so the communication was prompt and quick. Barbara was great at responding and helping us out. The neighborhood is charming and quiet, although you will stay right next to the church, so be ready to hear the bells at 7:30 every morning.

The location is at least a 15-20 minute walk from the Stresa train station and probably half an hour from the ferry terminal. The house is up on a hill, so for older tourists, this might be a bit of an issue. Finally, there could be some more cleaning in the bathroom, as there was a bit of mold on the ceiling.
