Harbour View - Whitby

Location was lovely. Apartment well equipped, but teapot would have been nice, doesn’t taste the same made in a mug. Welcome pack tea sugar coffee hot chocolate milk bread wine and biscuits was much appreciated. A little further from the town than we thought but enjoyed the walk so not a problem. Lovely views over the river, loved watching steam train on the other river bank. Quiet area and allocated car park a bonus. Had issue with shower head, owner sent plumber to fix within minutes.

We didn’t like the mattresses. It was a beautiful apartment, the cost for the week from 27th Sept at £1000 was not low budget, so we expected good quality mattresses. The double bed mattress was a dreams mattress but not a good quality mattress, definitely towards lower end of the range, it was hard and uncomfortable, we didn’t sleep much at all so decided to try the single beds the next night, the mattresses on these beds were really low budget uncomfortable mattresses, another night with little sleep. We went out and bought a double size 8cm deep mattress topper and new sheet to cover it, we slept much better with that. Very disappointing for such a lovely apartment. A teapot would have been nice, again we bought one. Sofas could do with being cleaned. Key box was poorly labelled and difficult to open.

The location was great, a flat walk of about 0.7 miles into town. The curtains were blackout which was good. Beds were comfy and the hosts left us a goodie basket and milk. The shower was decent and everything was clean.

Apart from possibly a mat for the bath to make it less slippy when showering, everything was great.

Very clean comfy and everything you need would definitely stay again loved it great views as well

Dissapointed that was no toiletries as I checked the listing and stated there was, so we didn't take shower gel and stuff with us and only 3/4 toilet roll for a weekend 🙃 for 4 adults

Very clean, beautifully presented apartment walking distance to all whitby attractions. The views are lovely, right on the river and the free parking was a bonus. My mum appreciated the lift & netflix at the end of a long day of sightseeing. I enjoyed the coffee machine and the well equipped kitchen. the welcome basket was a lovely touch too. Thankyou for a really comfortable stay.

The place was a perfect home from home, very clean & comfortable & just a short walk from the centre of whitby. It was also a nice suprise to find a complimentary basket containing wine, biscuits, bread etc, a lovely touch & much appreciated.

There is nothing to dislike.

Lovely top floor apartment with great views down towards the Harbour. Superb location with parking a real bonus. Spotlessly clean.

Spacious, clean, quiet, great facilities and good value for money.
