Mermaid's Muse Bed and Breakfast

We asked for a couple of extra things that the hosts happily accommodated us with. They had a fresh, and I do mean fresh, incredible breakfast. Beautiful Pacific Coast view from comfortable deck and hot tub.

John and Nancy were both extremely friendly and hospitable. We very much enjoyed meeting them.

As a minor point, a light was left on overnight outside our room. This showed clearly around the outside of our door and disturbed our sleep.

breakfast was good, location was great.

without introductions, we were shown our room, bathroom and deck. was told about breakfast. a complimentary bar was in the advertising, but nothing was ever said about that, and the sub hostess spent the nite in her room. the grounds werent up to par, and there was clutter in some rooms of the house.the hot tub was hot, with a few floaters, when the jet was kicked up, there was all kinds of indistinguishing stuff. that was the end of that

We received a warm welcome from the owner Nancy. The bedroom was very cozy with an incredible view and a very big bed. We also loved the shower which is outstanding. The breakfast was excellent with fresh scrambled eggs and baked scones. We were in Brookings for only 1 night and didn't take time to enjoy the hot tub. Maybe next time :)

Unbelievable views, incredibly friendly owners and a wonderful overall experience

Everything was perfect!

Loved the location on the water and views; the property is well groomed; family of deer visited in the morning and afternoon was magical; Nancy/John hosts were kind and made a wonderful breakfast.

Beautiful house in a wonderful location. We had a large bedroom and bathroom and access to a deck and hot tub. The views are amazing and the home cooked breakfast and fresh scones lovely.

Nothing. We were sorry to leave.
