The Coach and Horses

Lovely location, rooms and staff. Great food and relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very accommodating and helped provide a discounted rate as well as being very informative during our tasting menu.

Disappointed that the microbrewery had not produced any beer for the bar. Also that you had to choose your (precise) breakfast requirements after you had finished your evening meal (without being told beforehand), which was very strange. Was also surprised to find the meal service charge was 20%, which is steep.

Loved the pub, great setting in the little village and surrounding areas.

I didn’t know that the bathroom had no door and the shared space was difficult. Lovely room overall just would not have booked an open plan toilet/hotel room if I had known

The chef is very skilful . Very good breakfasts and the dinner was worthy of a Michelin star.

Stunning old pub in lovely location, really nice beer garden. We stayed in Henry, such a beautiful room with a cast iron bath, the bed and bedding was extremely comfortable, the area is a little remote but uber worked to get around if you didn't want to drive. There was a problem in the kitchen sunday, however the very professional staff had sorted us a table at a nearby pub with taxis there and back, they couldn't of done anything more, was a shame because breakfast on Monday was delicious and I'm sure the roast would of been great. Overall we had a lovely stay

Fabulous inn, in a beautiful village . We stayed in the Rose room, totally unique with a wonderful bathtub in the centre. The staff were so friendly and the food was excellent and of a very high standard. Would strongly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

Going home

Breakfast was excellent. Generous portions and an excellent choice.

Only one small complaint, we were in Henry room which was beautiful and a good size. The bathroom was lovely but had quite a steep step.
