Le Petit Chalet - Artegianale

This is a complete little house in a small garden with a large terrace. VERY quiet, comes with cats (in the garden), quirky furnishings - big mirrors, lots of books. Secure parking behind locked gate. Lovely big shower. Very clear instructions for getting in/collecting keys/parking the car.

This place is a long way up a steep hill from the town centre - if you had any mobility issues or were simply unfit you might be better to park in town to look around and drive up to the property. Host says they will add some spoons to the cutlery! As Brits we like a kettle but water boiled very quickly on the hob. The light switches take a little working out...but these are all minor issues, and it does have cats that come to the patio doors....

The place is really beautifully decorated, its like being in the middle of a forest (like those appartments you have in Bali). However two things we like to mention is that the lightining needs improvement as it is very low and dark especially at night and in the bathroom the bulb didnt work so it was even darker. Also to go to the city centre there is about 15mins walk downhill which is okeyish but to come up its exhausting cause the hill is really really steep and at night very dark. We had to grab a uber each time (around €2).

Great location with an amazing decor. The shower, the outside, the vibe; everything was fabulous. We felt welcomed and made new little friends 🙂 We will come again.
