La Fontaiola

The property is in a very pretty location with nice views. I enjoyed looking through the olive orchards toward the distant hills - from the property not from the cottage itself. It seemed to be an authentic, picturesque, stone cottage on an Umbrian estate.

There are several inaccuracies in the description. There was no free bicycle rental. There was no oven. There was no separate living room. Additionally, there was an unpleasant smell (I think it was bug spray) inside the cottage. It did not dissipate the entire 3 days we were there. The cottage was dark with very few windows. While the view from the property was pretty, from the cottage itself it was difficult to see outside. It was chilly inside. Heat was not included and it was expensive.

One of the best hosts ever! A big thank to Renato. He gives us the feeling that we are so welcome. He gave us amazing recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing spots. He brought fresh bread every morning, so you have a great breakfast every day. We enjoyed the time in the house so much. It has charme and a big garden with a nice pool. The kitchen has all what you need for your daily use. Everything is very clean. THANKS again Renato!
