Riad Bab Lakhmiss

Door een vertraagde vlucht kwamen we heel laat aan. Voor de gastheer - die uit zijn bed moest komen wanneer we aankwamen - was dit allemaal met de glimlach. Dankjewel voor de goede ontvangst!

There was cleaning and fresh bedding everyday. The lady was always so sweet. The room was nice, I liked the traditional bathroom and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was really good and it was different every day.

Well, the other host guy was creepy.(not the owner, he was nice) We think he was bipolar or I don’t know, but he was so weird. We wasn’t allowed to bring food to our room if we ordered. He said we can only eat at the diner. We were already in comfy clothes , finished showering ,and it was night so we had to dress up and leave our room again(that’s why we ordered food because we didn’t want to do that). He allowed us to eat on the roof but he was watching us the whole time on camera. Once he came up and started packing!!! our stuff up, and said that we have to bring our trash downstairs after we finish. It was OBVIOUS for us to throw out our trash and we didn’t give him a reason to think we won’t do that, but he still acted like we’re criminals. After that we completely lost our appetite and we were in shock. Before our last day there, I asked him nicely that if it’s possible to have breakfast half an hour earlier than 8 and he was staring at me like I’m crazy and he only said a no with a weird face. When we checked out next morning he brought us 1-1 glasses of orange juice. We were so confused. One last thing, there’s no door in the bathroom so be prepared with a headphone if you’re not going there alone:D

Le petit déjeuner été copieux, et varié chaque jour !! La proximité avec la place et le souk. La terrasse est très agréable. Si la piscine avait été nettoyé ça aurait été un plus. Le personnel très gentils.

La literie (de notre chambre) est à revoir… L’humidité (pas de vmc) Et surtout…. Le bruit la nuit (des clients qui rentrent et autres)

El encargado era un encanto nos mostró un mapa para poder andar por la ciudad sin datos , el baño era una maravilla y la cama también. El desayuno excepcional y la cocinera muy agradable

La ubicación. El taxi nos dejó a diez minutos andando y es un barrio bastante peligroso

Super riad, très très joli. Avec un petit rooftop et 5 chambres, très familial.

Nous étions installés dans la chambre du bas qui était assez humide, mais fenêtre ouverte et c’est bon !

Traditional riad, clean and comfy. Good location, nice breakfast and a nice rooftop terrace. Wonderful host, sat us down on arrival and as we were first time visitors to Morocco he gave us a run through of what to expect, how to haggle with merchants, and showed us a maps app specifically for navigating the medina and recommendations of sites to see and where to go. We would highly recommend this riad.
