Nisarga Homestay and Beach Resort Gokarna

The location and view is just awesome. Food and beer is available all the time, even if the closest restaurant was closed, Nagraj (property owner) somehow arranged it from other restaurants, he is an excellent caretaker.

I dearly missed a wash basin and clothes hook in the shared washroom. (I stayed in a tent)

The location is good. Rooms are sea facing. There is an eatery next door. No issues in locating property via maps!.

The property is very basic in nature . There is no hot water (just in case one needs). It's just a room with a bed (good that room is fitted with AC and Fan) and no other amenities (no drinking water / no tea or not many food options available around). There is no battery backup / inverter so in case of power outages one will have to stay without Fan/AC. I stayed here knowing this is a budget stay, but then felt that it's priced slightly higher than the value it provided. (Value for money)

Nice n peaceful place with good food

The property is beach facing. Beds are comfortable, toilets are clean.There are good Veg and nonveg restaurants in other properties nearby. The beach is calm and kids can play safely. There is life guard who keeps an eye on the situation of the tide's and warns you.The staff are friendly and supportive.

The thermal insulation provided for the roof is insufficient . May require better fixing. The approach to the property is bad from the road side . But good from the beach side . For food you are dependent on the restaurants besides the property .it would be nice if a kettle is provided for making coffee and tea
