The owners stay downstairs and are approachable

The approach to the stay is very shabby and dirty. Very narrow lanes where cabs cannot reach. We need to carry our luggage for a bit to reach from the drop off point. The room was not cleaned though we were told that the maid would be coming over to clean but no one turned up. The sheets were also not fresh.

We booked our stay 2 months before but the owners messed it bad time and were denying to give a stay- then we requested them to provide- it was as if our mistake and they are rectifying it they eventually provided us a stay by taking extra 500/- with them and providing a different room which was not at all good- overall This could have been avoided if the owners maintained a proper booking data with them. which they did not- probably some other customer wanted to book for a longer stay which eventually happened and for that they cancelled our booking - one of the booking They forced us to cancel which was also not right- I as a traveler was thinking where should I go with Family and was abiding by their bizarre requests of cancelling trip from my side or for paying extra 500/- for not a mistake of mine and a very bad room.

Nice clean room and friendly owners. Decent location but not the easiest to find. Traditional Indian house, nice experience.

My stay was exceptionally comfortable. The apartment was spacious, clean & well decorated. It gave a cosy vibe. Well connected & centrally located. Delicious and scrumptious homemade meals. A special shout out to the hosts who are available to help with anything and everything. Thank you for the lovely & wonderful experience.

The room was very pretty and well decorated and matched the photos.

The location is very close to a mosque or temple which plays very loud chanting over the speakers at 6am every morning and woke me up which I found annoying and unpleasant. The mattress was a bit too hard/thin for me and was uncomfortable to sleep on. To make it more comfortable I took a blanket and folded it over to place beneath me to make it softer, which worked but was not ideal. I was instructed to arrive at a location that was around the corner from the homestay, from which I was met by the owners and loaded my bags onto a bicycle rickshaw and travelled 100-200m around the corner to the homestay, where I unloaded my bags and had to pay a tip to the rickshaw driver. This was a small but annoying process and I wish the owners had just given me the direct address of the homestay to avoid this annoyance. The Hotel West Inn is across the street from the homestay and would be a better place to meet.
